Sacred Heart Mission (SHM) is looking for a full time Executive Assistant to the CEO to join our passionate organisation and support our CEO and Board of Governance.

Your customer service expertise, knack for managing priorities, and passion for creating meaningful change will make all the difference. 

Your Day-To-Day

  • Being the CEO’s trusted right hand! – Serving as the approachable link between the CEO’s office and all stakeholders. 
  • Managing complex diary scheduling, meetings, travel arrangements, administrative systems and correspondence for the CEO. 
  • Providing high-level secretariat support for governance, including board agendas, minutes, and action follow-ups.
  • Partnering with the Internal & CEO Communications Lead, executive team and other internal stakeholders to influence change communications and culture. 
  • Coordinating correspondence, prepare key documents and oversee the CEO’s operational budget to ensure timely and professional delivery of all commitments.

Essentials for Success

  • Proven extensive experience as Executive Assistant to a CEO and Board. 
  • Advanced digital skills in MS Office applications and other online collaboration tools. 
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including confidence and assertiveness to represent the CEO’s office. 
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with attention to detail.
  • Commitment to social justice and equity, valuing the strengths, resilience and courage of people with a lived experience of homelessness, deep disadvantage and social exclusion.
